Faiths4Change 2007

Since our new Team of Project Officers came into post in October 2007 Faiths4Change has been buzzing with activity!

In mid October we began with the launch of an introduction to Faiths4Change supplement in the Big Issue in the North , a partner we regularly work with in Liverpool, check out Earthworks on our Stories page for a twist on traditional allotmenteering!

Early November, saw Helen D and Tom, our Merseyside and Preston Project Officers hosting local launch events in Liverpool and Preston to share Faiths4Change’ innovative ways of supporting community cohesion, environmental transformation and individual transferable skills. Attracting members of faith communities, voluntary, community and statutory sector workers and partners, the launch events were really well attended. In early December, Annie, our Director, and Don, our Evaluator, worked closely with Zoe @ Faithworks to share the lessons learnt during Operation EDEN to provide a Case Study of Excellence for a forthcoming Faithworks publication – Impact & Excellence – to be launched in March 2008.
