Turning The Tables reuse competition - send us your photos of your reuse to win

Turning The Tables is a highly visual and hands on project that will result in an installation of a community made artwork in Liverpool City Centre. Through a series of workshops, participants are learning furniture and textile reuse skills whilst simultaneously contributing to our artwork. We've been delighted to work with fantastic community Hubs throughout this project who have hosted workshops, delivered their own sessions and shared their skills at Health & Wellbeing events.

Competition

We want your Reuse photos!

A mend or alteration in your clothing, repurposing an unwanted item, a fresh lick of paint on a chair or your most creative and imaginative reuse.

To enter you simply need to tweet or facebook a photo showing your Reuse activity along with: #turningthetables #reuse @faiths4change

The competition is open to Hub organisations, workshop participants and Merseyside residents.

There will be two prizes:

One for the Hub that reuses the highest tonnage (through workshops and the competition)
One for an individual whose reuse photo is picked by our MRWA judge.

Terms & Conditions:

- Only entries with #turningthetables #reuse @faiths4change will be counted.
- This is because we won’t be able to find entries unless they have the correct hashtags and handle! If they’re not tagged, we simply won’t find them and they won’t count.
- The entries posted via Hub organisations will also be counted in the individual competition.
- Should any of these entries win we will notify the Hub organisation rather than the individual.
- If any of your service users post photos @ your organisation, you should retweet/share their image so that it counts towards your Hub total. Again, making sure the image has #turningthetables #reuse @faiths4change
- If an individual is unable to tweet/facebook, they should ask you as the Hub to do it on their behalf.
- The Hub winner will be the Hub that reuses the highest tonnage during the project duration. This will be calculated from:
photographs of reuse posted by Hubs with #turningthetables #reuse @faiths4change
the total tonnage logged on the 10 sign in sheets from each Hub's Faiths4Change sessions
the total tonnage logged on the 4 sign in sheets from each Hub's additional delivery
the total tonnage logged on the 2 sign in sheets from each Hub's Health & Wellbeing events
the total tonnage logged on each Hub's Volunteer Log Sheet

- The individual winner will be picked by MRWA from a shortlist put together by Faiths4Change. It will be based on creativity, skill shown and how successful the reuse is!
- The competition will run until 28th February 2017.
- The winners will be announced in March 2017.
