Engaging whole congregations and the wider community is a key part of the Net Zero Carbon & Eco Church programme, alongside making church buildings more sustainable and care for creation as a whole.
Here are Diocese of Blackburn we have asked Faiths4Change to help support our churches in fully embracing their Eco Church journey.
As of May 2026, 119 churches are registered with Eco Church across our Diocese, with 38 achieving Bronze, 13 Silver, and 0 Gold awards.
We’d love to help more churches get their first Eco Church, email [email protected] and we will arrange to meet with you online or in person.
