Coming in Spring 2026 The Green Generation: Youth Action on Waste – a free celebration event for young people and groups interested in climate action. The event will showcase young people’s creativity and leadership in sustainability. Over the past six months, young people across Wirral have been involved in the Trash to Treasures programme, delivered by Faiths4Change and Wirral Repair Café, and funded by the MRWA Community Fund and Wirral Borough Council. Through hands-on projects, they explored waste reduction, sustainability, and practical skills for greener living – from clothing repair to creative recipes using commonly wasted foods. The focus has been on preventing waste, and focusing on reuse and recycling This celebration will include: ✔ Young people showcasing their projects and achievements ✔ Opportunities to meet sustainability experts ✔ Reflections on the positive impact for peers, the community, and the environment ✔ Green education & careers Why attend?
