Faiths4Change:
Connecting the health & wellbeing
of people & the environment

Faiths4Change (F4C) is a dynamic environmental charity established in 2010.  Our team is active at local and strategic level across Merseyside; working in and with communities to co-create climate change and resilience projects.   Listening, learning, sharing, relationships and celebrating are key to our work.

Our work is deeply rooted in the values and beliefs of actively caring for the earth and communities as a whole.  Our work is interfaith and shared by many who do not have a religion or adhere to a belief system.  We are not a religious organisation.

Our vision is a truly just and sustainable world.

We work across Merseyside, North West England. Our office is based in Liverpool . We are a registered charity (no. 1138834) and registered company limited by guarantee (no. 7201450).

"Everyone at Faiths4Change is enthusiastic, committed and willing to do
their very best - for you and with you. It's just so empowering"

How We Work

At Faiths4Change, we  develop projects that are needed, will be engaging and will be effective. We work with communities and organisations to develop project ideas in response to a specific need or issue. For example: high bin contamination and low recycling rates in Northwood led to us to develop Green Up Northwood which was a whole community arts based approach to behaviour change, at St Michael in the City the opportunity to develop a plot of land led to our Roots In The City partnership, and with the Diocese of Liverpool their need to enable youth-led action led to the Water Stories resource pack.

We build partnerships around shared values, dialogue and mutual understanding; working with partners who embrace many perceptions and aspirations, both within and beyond faith communities. We often use health and wellbeing activities, such as cooking, food growing and arts, as social tools to engage with environmental and civic issues.
Our work is always practical, inclusive, affirming and enthusiastic.

We can work with you to develop an engaging project that addresses a need, issue or opportunity

We can deliver land-based or creative projects with your organisation, community or school

We can consult and contribute to planning and strategy; particularly around carbon reduction, how to effectively engage communities and individuals with climate action and use of land for food growing.
