Honorary Treasurer Role
Faiths4Change (F4C) is a dynamic environmental charity established in 2010. We are active across the Liverpool City Region; working in and with communities to co-create climate change and resilience projects.
Our work is deeply rooted in values and beliefs of actively caring for the Earth and communities as an integrated whole. Our values and roots are interfaith, although shared by many who do not have a religion or adhere to a belief system. We are not a religious organisation.

What does the role involve?
Financial matters are the responsibility of all trustees. However, it is often the honorary treasurer that the other trustees look to for advice, guidance and reassurance on all aspects of the charity’s financial management and reporting, control systems, solvency, investments, etc.
The honorary treasurer will maintain an overview of the charity's financial activities, ensuring sustainable and effective use of resources to achieve the organisations aims.

The honorary treasurer will maintain an overview of the charity's financial activities, ensuring sustainable and effective use of resources to achieve the organisations aims.
Main responsibilities are to:
- Present financial reports to the board in a format that helps them understand F4C’s finances
- Advise Trustees on how to carry out its financial responsibilities
- Liaise with professional advisors including the external examiner
- Oversee the preparation and scrutiny of annual accounts
- Draft/ review policies re. finances
- Review F4C’s financial performance
- Liaise with the Director and Bookkeeper as required
